Every year, Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU (CHoR) has the privilege of welcoming a new team of residents who bring added excitement and expertise to the hospital. The residency program provides an exceptionally comprehensive and challenging pediatric educational experience, giving interns the opportunity to experience a wide variety of clinical care situations. This year, we are extremely proud to welcome the following residents to the Intern Class of 2013 Pediatrics and Medical-Pediatrics:”Across the country, this was one of the most competitive years in the history of Pediatrics Residencies,” said Dr. Suzanne Lavoie, program director for pediatrics residency at CHoR. “We are very excited about the group of enthusiastic new physicians who will be joining us this summer and expect that we will have one of the best years ever.”These residents are an extremely qualified group with a passion for children and a hunger for learning. Equipped with a wealth of knowledge and experience in some of the most advanced, cutting-edge techniques in the field, these interns will add great value to the award winning staff at CHoR.
